Wherever possible, the artists we bring to Telluride spend time with the kids of our rural region. Each artist or ensemble engages in student outreach - inspiring presentations, kids concerts, assemblies or even hands-on time with instruments most students never get to touch.
Why Education
More than the music itself.
We believe classical music can provide children tools that help them thrive — not just the beauty of music itself, but motivation, creativity, dedication, teamwork, and leadership. Wherever possible, every visiting artists present student outreach for the kids of our region. These opportunities are made possible through our collaborations with Palm Kidz, Telluride Schools, Telluride Mountain School, Telluride Academy and Wilkinson Public Library.
